The Elan Ripstick Tour was created for touring skiers with the intent to deliver the superior downhill performance of a freeride ski at a fraction of the weight for uphill efficiency. The series is designed from the ground up with the goal of pushing skiing performance to the maximum without losing focus on the functionality necessary for comfortable climbs. The engine that allows us to blend these concepts is CARBON BRIDGE TEHNOLOGY; a revolutionary solution where a single carbon rod is placed on top of the ski, to provide stability at speed and vibration absorption through the tip in variable snow, without a weight penalty.
